Job summary

Hillsboro Health (Hillsboro Area Hospital) in Hillsboro, IL is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to deliver patient care in the Emergency Department using the nursing process and hospital standards. Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited nursing school.
• Three years of nursing experience preferred.
• Ability to pass specific competencies for this position.
• Ability to work under pressure with tight time constraints.
• Better than average human relations and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Supports and promotes the hospital's mission and values.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient, hospital, or physician information.
• Focus on quality standards and safety guidelines.
• Review and update hospital policies and procedures.
• Attend monthly meetings with the Director of Emergency Services.
• Make clinical decisions and prioritize workload.
• Guide patient care in an efficient, cost-effective manner.

Education

Graduate of accredited nursing school
