Job summary

Harrison Memorial Hospital in Cynthiana, Kentucky, seeks an Emergency Department Registered Nurse for night shifts on a PRN basis. The RN will provide high-quality, compassionate care from triage through discharge or admission, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

The role requires nursing licensure in Kentucky, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS within specified timelines, and TNCC within 1 year. BSN is preferred and ED experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Triage and assess patients, prioritize care based on acuity.
• Administer medications and IV therapies as ordered.
• Monitor patient condition and document changes in the EHR.
• Respond to emergencies and perform life-saving measures as needed.
• Coordinate care with physicians and staff, educate patients and families.
