Job summary

Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Florida, is seeking a per diem nights RN for the Bayshore Gardens Free-Standing Emergency Department. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of ED experience and current ER experience is required.

Qualified applicants hold graduation from an accredited School of Nursing and Florida RN licensure, with BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIH Stroke certifications and CPI within 6 months of hire encouraged.

Qualifications

• Graduation from Accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN licensure in Florida.
• Current BLS through American Heart Association.
• Current ACLS through American Heart Association.
• Current PALS through American Heart Association.
• Current TNCC Certification.
• Current NIH Stroke Certification.
• CPI required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Promotes and provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards, and philosophy.
• Demonstrates professional leadership and supports the healthcare team while providing the foundation of all patient-centered nursing care.
• Communicates with physicians and other nursing staff about patient needs, administering IVs and medications to aid in patient health and using medical equipment to monitor patient vital signs.
