Arnot Health is seeking an Emergency Room Registered Nurse for onsite work at Elmira, NY. Expect rapid patient assessments, emergency nursing care, and thorough documentation.

You will educate families and ensure adherence to discharge instructions while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate holds NYS nursing licensure (or eligible) with BLS and ACLS, and is prepared to meet regulatory standards in a high-acuity setting.

Qualifications

• Current NYS nursing licensure, limited permit or eligible.
• BLS & ACLS Required or obtained within 30 days of employment.

Responsabilités

• Perform rapid patient assessments and prioritize care based on acuity.
• Provide emergency nursing care including medication administration, IV therapy, cardiac monitoring.
• Accurately document patient care in the electronic health record.
• Educate patient and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate effectively with physicians, advanced practice providers, and support staff.
• Work with other interdisciplinary teams.
