Job summary

AdventHealth Denver is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Night shift. You will assess patients, develop care plans, administer medications, educate families, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care in a safe environment.

Earn up to 20% salary increases through our Clinical Ladder program based on experience and achievement, with sign-on and relocation support for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required
• BLS/CPR certification required
• Experience in acute care setting preferred

Responsibilities

• Assess physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans; evaluate outcomes.
• Administer medications and treatments per orders and protocols; monitor adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and self-care.
• Coordinate with medical staff to optimize patient care and communicate effectively.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the medical record.
• Evaluate care plan effectiveness and adjust as needed.
• Ensure infection control and safety compliance.
• Provide emotional support and therapeutic communication to patients and families.
• Supervise and delegate care to team members; promote performance improvement.
• Respond to code situations promptly to stabilize patients.
