Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Emergency Department at the Marlborough Campus (Nashoba Valley). You will provide direct patient care using the nursing process, coordinating assessments, plans, and discharge planning in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment.

Current MA nursing licensure is required; BLS is mandatory for all RNs, ACLS preferred. A minimum of three years in a full-service hospital ED is desired.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts Nursing licensure and registration.
• BLS is a requirement for every RN unless ACLS is current; ACLS is preferred.
• Minimum three years' experience in a full-service hospital emergency department.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the Nursing Process for patient care from admission to discharge.
• Performs patient assessment and reassessment according to standard procedure.
• Develops and coordinates plan of care including discharge planning.
• Directs and evaluates nursing care within the assigned setting.
