Job summary

AdventHealth in Palm Coast, FL is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to perform comprehensive patient assessments, develop individualized care plans, and administer medications in a full-time night shift role. You will collaborate with a care team, document diligently, and contribute to continuous quality improvement while complying with safety standards.

Candidate must hold an RN license in Florida, with preferred BSN; English fluency and solid computer skills are required.

Qualifications

• Requires RN licensure (FL)
• Associate's degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred
• EFSG? English fluency required; Computer literacy essential
• Ability to perform comprehensive assessments and develop care plans
• Experience in acute care hospital settings preferred

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors of patients
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care
• Administer medications and treatments safely following orders and protocols
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care
• Collaborate with medical staff to coordinate patient care and ensure effective communication
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient information, care activities, and outcomes
• Evaluate care plans and adjust to improve patient health outcomes
• Ensure infection control and safety standards are met
• Provide emotional support to patients and families
• Supervise care provided by healthcare team members
• Engage in ongoing professional development and performance improvement
