Job summary

Exceptional Health Care is seeking an experienced ER Nurse for our NEW Community Hospital. You will provide direct and indirect patient care in the emergency setting, triage patients, and work with a team to deliver high-quality care.

The role requires 2+ years ER experience (preferred), current RN license with BLS/ACLS/PALS, and strong leadership and EMR proficiency. Night shifts with 12-hour rotations are available along with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• 2+ years ER experience preferred.
• Current RN license and certifications – BLS, ACLS & PALS.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

Responsibilities

• Determine priorities of care based on physical and psychosocial needs, and patient flow.
• Communicate with ED physicians about status changes and test results.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment.
• Maintain awareness of ER policies and procedures impacting responsibilities.
• Demonstrate knowledge of nursing standards including Patient Bill of Rights and Nurse Practice Act.
• Provide direct patient care, evaluate outcomes, and adjust care as needed.
