Job summary

Duke University Hospital in Durham, North Carolina seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department on a full-time night shift (7p–7a). The role involves delivering and supervising comprehensive nursing care, using the nursing process, and supporting patients and families in a fast-paced ED setting.

Qualified candidates will have 1+ year RN experience, hold an appropriate nursing degree, and maintain NC nursing licensure and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of RN experience required.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program (BSN/ASN/ Diploma).
• Must obtain/maintain NC nursing license and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide and supervise total nursing care to patients.
• Perform and oversee nursing process: assess, plan, implement, evaluate.
• Maintain patient safety, education, and family support.
