Qualifications

• Graduation from a school of professional nursing.
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
• One (1) year of nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Education: Identify and meet learning needs; attend education programs.
• Evaluation of Care: Participate in interdisciplinary evaluation; promote continuity of care.
• Implementation: Provide competent care for patients with complex problems; bedside testing as needed.
• Leadership: Support professional growth goals; promote intra/interdepartmental collaboration.
• Patient Assessment: Identify priorities; assess discharge needs; build relationships with families.
• Planning: Collaborate with patient/family on plan; use multidisciplinary resources.
• Research: Read journals and share ideas with staff.
