Job summary

Brigham and Women's Faulkner Hospital in Jamaica Plain is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. The role provides immediate acute care, triage, assessment, treatment and documentation for patients in a 29-bed ED that operates 24/7 with imaging available around the clock and primary stroke center designation.

The position requires a BSN and Massachusetts RN licensure, BLS, ACLS by orientation end, and telemetry experience. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• BSN required and MA RN licensure.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS required by end of orientation; PALS preferred.
• 2 years telemetry experience preferred.
• ED experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Triage, assess, treat and document care in the ED.
• Provide immediate acute care to patients.
• Demonstrate Patient and Family Centered Care within ICARE standards.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure patient safety and quality care.
