Job summary

Montclair Hospital Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver safe patient care in Telemetry and the Emergency Department. You will use the nursing process from assessment to evaluation, guiding patients and families and supervising other nursing staff while upholding professional standards.

The role requires an active RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS/ENPC, and at least one year in acute care (ER preferred). CEN and BSN are desirable; TNNC/NRP may be required within specified timeframes.

Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN License.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS/ENPC certifications.
• Minimum 1 year ER staff nurse experience in acute care.
• CEN certification and BSN preferred.
• MICN/EDAP/NRP/ TNNC requirements may apply.
• EMTALA knowledge and patient privacy commitment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care using the nursing process in Telemetry/ED.
• Direct patient/family teaching and guide other staff while maintaining standards.
• Communicate clinical changes with physicians; monitor diagnostic results.
• Respond quickly to changes in patient condition and ensure privacy.
