Banner - University Medical Center Tucson seeks a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department (ED) to provide comprehensive nursing care for all ages, including pediatric populations. This 80-bed unit supports a Level 1 Adult Trauma Center and advanced stroke, cancer and cardiac services.

Position offers opportunities in the Nursing Clinical Ladder, self-scheduling for shifts, and a weekend differential of $3/hour.

Qualifikationen

• Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification required; additional certification may be required by area of practice.
• Experience in an acute care hospital setting is preferred within the past 12 months.

Aufgaben

• Assess patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational and discharge planning needs and review data with care team.
• Formulate and implement a plan of care, including discharge planning, with patient/family input.
• Provide direct patient care, coordinate and supervise care activities with the health care team.
• Evaluate patient responses and adjust care plans as needed in collaboration with the team.
• Document assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation in patient records timely and accurately.
• Promote evidence-based practice and mentor others when appropriate.
