Job summary

Qualifications

• RN Seasonal staff must have current Texas RN license.
• Two years of recent acute care experience (full-time) or four years (part-time).
• Ability to float to other areas where competent to work.
• Availability for at least 4 weekend shifts per month; includes weekends from Friday 7 p.m. to Monday 7 a.m.
• Holiday coverage as assigned by facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care per facility policies and nursing standards.
• Offer professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Perform patient assessments, plan, guide, and evaluate nursing care.
• Oversee and guide nursing staff under supervision.
• Collaborate with hospital staff and other departments to address patient needs and conflicts.
• Demonstrate Service Excellence in all interactions.
