Job summary

ERMC is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Nurse Manager in Eaton Rapids, MI to supervise the ED and hospital unit operations during shifts. You will coordinate patient care, supervise staff, and ensure safe, timely delivery of services in line with the ERMC Leadership Framework.

Responsibilities include staffing, scheduling, evaluations, education, quality improvement, policy enforcement, and incident reporting, with active participation in community education and cross‑department

Qualifications

BLS required upon hire and maintained.
RN license in Michigan.
ACLS and PALS within 90 days of employment.
TNCC and ENPC within 1 year of employment.
ICS 100, 200, 700, 800 within one year.
Leadership experience as nurse manager/supervisor.

Responsibilities

Provide safe, timely emergency nursing care and direct patient flow and triage.
Document assessments, interventions, meds, IVs, and care in the EMR.
Communicate significant findings to the care team.
Supervise operations on the assigned unit during shifts.
Promote safe patient throughput and resolve barriers with staff and departments.
Assist with staff orientation, ongoing education, and evaluations.
Lead emergency preparedness and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
