Job summary

Qualifications

• Current state RN license or compact state equivalent.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS required within policy timeframe.
• TNCC/ASLS preferred or required within policy timeframe.
• Education: ADN required; BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs triage and prioritizes patient care based on acuity.
• Administers medications and manages IVs and procedures in ED.
• Monitors hemodynamics and interprets cardiac rhythms.
• Assists physicians with exams and procedures in the ED.
• Documents care and education accurately and timely.
• Maintains infection control and sterile technique.
• Educates patients and families about care plans and discharge instructions.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team for optimal care delivery.
• Responds calmly in high-stress, life-threatening situations.
