Job summary

Watertown Regional Medical Center, part of ScionHealth, seeks a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. You will provide direct and indirect patient care in a high-acuity setting, performing triage, monitoring cardiac rhythms, and supporting the interdisciplinary team to ensure top-tier care.

Ideal candidates hold an Associate Degree in Nursing (BSN preferred) and current RN licensure with BLS/ACLS/PALS eligibility as required by policy.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of emergency nursing protocols, trauma care, and critical interventions.
• Skilled in interpreting ECGs, managing IVs, and operating emergency equipment.
• Proficient in EMR systems and clinical documentation tools.

Responsibilities

• Performs triage and prioritizes patient care based on acuity.
• Assists physicians with exams and procedures in the emergency department.
• Monitors hemodynamic status and interprets cardiac rhythms.
• Educates patients and families about care plans and discharge instructions.
• Collaborates with providers and interdisciplinary team for optimal care delivery.
