Job summary

Kaiser Permanente in Clackamas, OR is seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse to deliver comprehensive nursing care in collaboration with the healthcare team. The RN will perform multi-system assessments, develop individualized care plans, coordinate discharge planning, and document care in the EMR.

Requirements include an ADN, current Oregon RN license, and proven ED experience. This is a full-time position in a high-volume, patient-centered environment.

Qualifications

• ADN required for RN position.
• Current Oregon RN license required.
• Experience in Emergency Department settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform multi-system assessments (biophysical, psychosocial, environmental).
• Identify deviations from normal on labs and reassess patients during hospitalization.
• Develop individualized nursing care plans sensitive to patient development.
• Coordinate care and discharge planning with other departments and community agencies.
• Carry out physician plan of care and document accurately in the EMR.
• Participate in unit quality assurance activities.
