Job summary

Prince George ER, part of HCA Healthcare, Inc., seeks a Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment. The role requires VA RN license or compact multistate licensure, with ACLS/BCLS and PALS/Neonate Resuscitation within specified timeframes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current RN VA license or compact multistate license.
• ACLS must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• Neonate Resuscitation must be obtained within 1 year of start date.
• PALS must be obtained within 1 year of start date.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention must be obtained within 90 days of start date.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Assist with pain management and ensure timely documentation in medical records.
• Educate patients/families about conditions, treatments and follow-up care.
• Respond promptly to patient needs and anticipate care requirements.
• Collaborate with providers and care team to support outcomes.
