Job summary

CHI Health Good Samaritan in Kearney, Nebraska, is seeking an Emergency Room Technician to support safe, cost-efficient patient care in the ED. You will perform delegated tasks from RNs or physicians, assist with transport and clerical duties, and help maintain a safe, efficient unit.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care as delegated by RN or Medical Staff; monitor vital signs and report changes.
• Escort patient to exam room; assist with therapeutic/diagnostic measures and transport.
• Act as unit clerk; discharge patients and enter charges; update the EDTB to improve patient flow.
• Communicate with patients, family, physicians and staff in a courteous, professional manner.
• Support department operations and contribute to a safe and efficient Emergency Department environment.
