Job summary

Singing River Health System Gulfport seeks a professional Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care using the Nursing Process, in alignment with the Mississippi Nurse Practice Act and ANA standards. The RN will support patients to attain, maintain, and restore health while upholding safety and quality care.

Shifts run 7AM–7PM; candidates should have Mississippi RN licensure, BCLS, and current certifications for specialty areas as listed; inpatient experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate from NLN School of Nursing.
• Current unrestricted Mississippi State licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• BCLS certification required upon hire/transfer and maintained.
• Experience in inpatient clinical settings preferred within 5 years.
• Ability to complete specialty-area certifications within required timelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the Nursing Process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate.
• Adhere to SRHS policies and standards for infection control and patient safety.
• Collaborate with LPNs, aides, and other staff to deliver quality care.
• Maintain appropriate certifications for assigned specialty areas.
