Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• WA RN license upon hire.
• BLS/CPR required upon hire.
• ACLS to be completed within 60 days of hire.
• PALS within 12 months (or ENPC if applicable).
• Trauma-related certifications as required by ED.

Responsibilities

• Administers, oversees and documents administration of medications as ordered.
• Assesses patients’ physical, psychosocial, cultural and spiritual needs and plans care accordingly.
• Maintains and documents nursing care using the hospital’s care process and orders.
• Prepares patients for discharge and coordinates post-discharge needs.
• Demonstrates cultural sensitivity and communicates effectively with diverse patient populations.
