Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current State of Texas license or a valid temporary/compact license to practice professional nursing.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience levels align with RN I–IV designations (I<1y, II 1–3y, III 3–10y, IV 10+ years).

Responsibilities

• Delivers safe and appropriate care to patients according to the nursing plan and patient needs.
• Coordinates planning and delivery of nursing care with an interdisciplinary team.
• Collaborates with and may delegate to healthcare team to achieve positive outcomes.
• Develops and implements discharge and transfer plans; participates in program evaluation and quality improvement.
• Adheres to regulatory standards and Memorial Hermann policies while maintaining patient safety and care quality.
