Job summary

Advocate Health in Wisconsin's Mount Pleasant Emergency Department is seeking an experienced RN to join as a 0.9 FTE (36 hours per week) for full-time coverage. The role includes a $5/hour night shift differential and rotating weekends/holidays, with a target of delivering high-quality emergency care in a fast-paced setting.

The candidate will complete an accredited nursing program, hold an RN license in the state, and maintain BLS; ACLS/PALS are required within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Lead with evidence-based practice and effective communication to ensure the safest patient environment and best experience.
