Job summary

Universal Health Services is looking for an experienced Emergency Registered Nurse for their Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center in Washington, DC. This full-time position involves providing compassionate and competent nursing care in the Emergency Department, focusing on rapid assessment and stabilization of patients in urgent situations. Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited RN program and possess a valid DC RN license.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification required.
• DC RN license necessary.
• Preferably one year full-time or three years part-time experience in acute care.
• TNCC must be obtained within the first year.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care for patients in the Emergency Department.
• Rapidly assess and stabilize patients with urgent or life-threatening conditions.
• Perform initial triage and administer immediate care.
• Monitor vital signs and collaborate on treatment plans.
• Support the healthcare team in a fast-paced environment.
