Job summary

Qualifications

• Associates degree in nursing is required; bachelor’s preferred.
• Strong knowledge of ED nursing principles and pharmacology.

• Adept at triage, patient assessment, and rapid decision making.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients upon arrival to the Emergency Room and prioritize care using ESI.
• Assign patients to treatment areas based on observation and triage level.
• Perform and document procedures per hospital policy; respond to emergencies.
• Maintain licensure, safety, and infection control standards; support team problem solving.
