Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Avon Hospital in Avon, OH is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care during day shifts. You will implement, monitor, and revise nursing care plans, document patient conditions, and administer prescribed medications in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates will hold RN licensure with BLS and ACLS/PALS within hire, and bring 1 year of acute care or ED experience. Relocation assistance and generous education benefits are available.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN).
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA or Red Cross.
• ACLS and PALS through AHA within hire or within one year.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care.
• Implement, monitor, evaluate, update and revise patient care plans.
• Monitor, record, document and communicate patients’ conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patients’ discharge needs.
• Educate patients and their families.
