LCMC Health is seeking an ER nurse to treat each shift as a calling, bringing empathy, skill and steadiness to the Emergency Room at West Jefferson Medical Center. You will partner with physicians, peers and patients to deliver timely, compassionate care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Current nursing license to practice in Louisiana as defined by the Louisiana State Board of Nursing.
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification.
• Current ACLS, CPI and PALS certifications.(New grad must obtain within 6 months of hire).

Responsibilities

• Prioritize, coordinate and delegate all care touchpoints for your patients.
• Maintain and advocate a safe environment for everyone.
• Monitor and engage with patients, families, and care team members regarding significant events or changes.
• Prevent and treat wounds.
• Ensure continuity of care, efficient throughput, and exceptional patient experience.
• Initiate patient and family education using appropriate resources.
