Job summary

Jefferson Health Northeast is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide patient- and family-centered care. You will develop individualized care plans, collaborate with inter-professional teams, and participate in quality and safety initiatives within a dynamic hospital setting.

Responsibilities include applying evidence-based practice, educating patients and families, and ensuring accurate health information documentation. A PA RN license and BLS/AHA knowledge are required for this role.

Qualifications

• Specialized Diploma Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
• Active RN license in PA required.
• Knowledge of patient- and family-centered care and cultural awareness.
• Excellent communication skills; ability to engage with patients and families.
• Ability to delegate appropriately and work in inter-professional teams.
• Proficiency in health information documentation.
• Familiarity with Basic Life Support (BLS) and American Heart Association standards.

Responsibilities

• Interacts with coworkers, patients, families, and staff with respect and collaboration.
• Applies evidence-based practice and clinical expertise to plan and deliver care.
• Partner with patients and families to identify learning needs and provide education.
• Follow nursing practices and protocols to minimize risk to patients and others.
