Job summary

Lehigh Valley Health Network, Inc. is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Department at Pocono Creek. This part-time night shift role offers 2x12-hour shifts per week with every third weekend and every other holiday, and a $6,000 sign-on bonus.

You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and provide education to patients and families. Strong clinical nursing skills and PA RN license required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited Nursing program.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required upon hire.
• Ability to organize and prioritize assignments in patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for designated patients.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team to meet patient needs.
• Educate patients and families throughout treatment and discharge.
• Coordinate and participate in performance improvement initiatives.
• Demonstrate leadership and mentoring of new colleagues as assigned.
