Job summary

LVHN’s Lehigh Valley Health Network seeks a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department on a part-time night shift. The role provides professional nursing care with assessment, planning, and evaluation per policies, directing care for designated patients, and maintaining competency in a fast-paced environment.

Minimum qualifications include a nursing degree, PA RN license on hire, and BLS. Preferred is a Bachelor’s in Nursing.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited Nursing program.
• PA RN licensure required on hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to organize and prioritize patient care.
• Attainment and maintenance of unit-specific competencies.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team.
• Provide patient and family education throughout treatment.
• Support unit and hospital goals via performance improvement.
• Lead and mentor new colleagues and interns.
• Utilize technology to optimize care delivery.
