Job summary

The department handles chest pain, strokes, trauma, and overdose with Meditech charting. Responsibilities include stabilizing patients, coordinating transfers, and adhering to facility policies and attendance.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• ACLS, PALS, TNCC certifications required.
• NIH training certification listed.
• Minimum of 2 years Emergency Room experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide 24/7 ER care for a variety of emergencies.
• Stabilize critically ill or injured patients.
• Transfer stabilized patients to appropriate facilities for advanced care.
• Document patient care in Meditech system.
• Float to different areas as needed to meet coverage.
• Adhere to dress code and attendance policies.
