Job summary

Saint Agnes Medical Center in Fresno, California, seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. Requirements include CA RN licensure, ACLS and PALS within required timelines, CPR, and at least one year in emergency, telemetry or critical care.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse with the State of California is required.
• ACLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• One year experience in emergency, telemetry or critical care is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• PALS certification required within six months of hire.
• Training for care of behavioral health/aggressive patients within three months and annually thereafter.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate the nursing care of each assigned patient.
• Supervise, coordinate and guide the activities with nursing staff members.
• Implement the philosophy, goals and standards of care of the Emergency Department.
