Job summary

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse with the State of California is required.
• ACLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• One year experience in emergency, telemetry or critical care.
• CPR certification (AHA Healthcare Provider).
• PALS certification within six months of hire.
• Training for care of behavioral health/aggressive patients within 3 months and annually.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for each patient.
• Supervise and coordinate activities with nursing staff.
• Uphold the ED philosophy, goals and standards of care.
