Job summary

Exceptional Health Care's NEW Community Hospital in Yuma, AZ seeks an experienced ER Nurse for Night Shift to join our emergency team and be a critical lifeline for patients. You’ll provide direct and indirect patient care with initiative, flexibility, and professional supervision as needed.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, 2+ years in ER (or ICU), active RN license with BLS/ACLS/PALS, and proficiency with EMR systems.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• 2+ years of ER (preferred) and/or ICU experience.
• Current RN license and certifications – BLS, ACLS & PALS.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Determine priorities of care based on patient needs and flow.
• Communicate with ED physicians about patient status and test results.
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or treatment.
• Provide direct patient care and document assessments and treatments.
• Perform head-to-toe assessments across diverse patient populations.
• Triaging to ensure timely and appropriate care.
