AdventHealth Prairie Star ER in Lenexa, Kansas is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care in a fast-paced emergency setting. The role requires RN licensure and BLS certification, with 1+ acute care hospital experience preferred.

The position involves conducting assessments, creating individualized care plans, administering medications, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree required (RN).
• Bachelor's in Nursing preferred.
• Current RN license required.
• BLS/CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients across physiological, psychological, developmental and social factors.
• Develop and adjust individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care.
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and hospital protocols with safety.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments and self-care.
• Collaborate with medical staff and departments to coordinate and optimize patient care.
