Job summary

St. David's North Austin Medical Center is seeking a Multi-modality Technologist to perform X-ray and CT exams in line with ARRT standards and Radiology Department policies.

You will apply knowledge of anatomy, patient care, and imaging principles to deliver high-quality studies across all ages, while supporting radiologists during invasive procedures and maintaining equipment readiness.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree - required.
• One year experience as a Radiology Technologist in an acute care setting.
• One year experience performing CT procedures - required.
• Graduate from an accredited approved program in Radiologic Technology.
• Completion of courses in CT and cross-sectional anatomy.
• Current MRT certification with Texas Medical Board (TMB).
• Current BLS certification per St. David’s Healthcare policy.
• ARRT(R) certification.
• ARRT(CT) certification.

Responsibilities

• Performing x-ray and CT exams in accordance with ARRT standards and department policies.
• Produce scans of optimal diagnostic quality across neonatal to geriatric patients.
• Operate CT scanner and related equipment efficiently and effectively.
• Complete quality scans promptly to meet STAT/urgent demands while upholding patient care standards.
• Assist Radiologist during invasive procedures and ensure equipment readiness.
