Job summary

The RN - ER position at Cynet Health is a 13-week assignment in a busy emergency department with night shifts and 12-hour hours per shift. RNs will support med/surg, outpatient, and ED patients, performing essential nursing procedures and leveraging EPIC for charting.

Candidates need 3 years of ER experience and 2 years in Med-Surg, with active Compact or State license and certifications including BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC. EPIC experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the U.S. (Compact or state license).
• Minimum 3 years ER experience and 2 years Med-Surg.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC certifications.

Responsibilities

• Care for med/surg, outpatient, and emergency department patients.
• Perform IV starts and Foley catheter insertions.
• Float between med/surg, outpatient, and ED as needed.
• Document using EPIC and monitor telemetry with Lifepak 15.
• Follow unit policies and nurse-patient ratio practices.
