Job summary

Pioneers Medical Center in Meeker, CO is seeking a Registered Nurse or licensed practical nurse to join our ER/MedSurg team. This full-time role reports to the ER/MedSurg Directors and offers a competitive hourly wage with shift differential.

Qualified candidates will hold an accredited nursing degree and a current Colorado RN license, plus BLS/ACLS/TNCC/PALS or ENPC within 6 months. Relocation and sign-on bonuses may be available.

Qualifications

• Diploma, ADN, or BSN in nursing is required.
• Current Colorado RN license is required.
• BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and PALS or ENPC certifications within 6 months.
• Knowledge of current nursing trends and evidence-based practice.

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical exams to assess patient health needs and problems.
• Implement physicians’ orders, such as treatments, IVs, medications, and tests.
• Review and maintain medical records.
• Administer direct care to injured, ill, or convalescent patients.
• Document medication administration and patient care.
• Provide emotional support to patients and families.
