Job summary

Foothill Regional Medical Center in Tustin, CA is seeking a compassionate LVN for the Emergency Department. The role involves delivering direct patient care under supervision, administering meds, and assisting with diagnostics and emergency interventions.

Qualifications

• Active California LVN license in good standing.
• Graduate of an accredited vocational nursing program.
• Current BLS certification.
• Ability to obtain IV certification within 12 months of hire.
• 1+ year of acute care/emergency department experience.
• Willingness to work days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments within LVN scope and hospital policy.
• Assist with examinations, diagnostic procedures, and basic emergency interventions.
• Monitor and report changes in patient conditions; document observations.
• Perform basic IV management when certified.
• Maintain aseptic technique and infection prevention.
