Job summary

Olympia Fields Hospital in Olympia Fields, IL, is seeking a licensed LVN/LPN for the Emergency Services department. This full-time daytime role runs 7a-7:30p, with a sign-on bonus up to $7,500 for qualified candidates.

You will provide direct and indirect patient care under RN supervision, perform IV and blood withdrawal within 90 days, and maintain safety and patient comfort as part of the care team. BLS certification is required on hire.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) required.
• IV certification and Blood Withdrawal (BW) certification within 90 days of hire date.
• Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Work experience in health care preferred.

Responsibilities

• The LVN/LPN provides direct and indirect patient care within scope of practice under RN supervision.
• Maintain safety, provide patient comfort and improve overall patient experience.
• Collaborate with the health care team in the MST setting.
