Job summary

PVH Potomac Valley Hospital in Keyser, WV is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for inpatient nursing support. You will deliver direct patient care per the plan of care, assist physicians, and perform prescribed nursing interventions in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in the state where services are provided or eNLC multistate license.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• State and Federal background checks as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in accordance with the patient’s plan of care.
• Assist physicians and oversee care as directed.
• Observe, document and report patient status and responses to interventions.
• Contribute to nursing assessment and care plan development.
• Administer medications as prescribed (IM, subcutaneous, IV, oral, nebulized, MDI).
• Educate patients and families and support rehabilitation plans.
• Document nursing interventions and communicate with health care team.
