Job summary

Triangle Veterinary Referral Hospital (TVRH) in Durham, NC seeks an experienced ER/ICU RVT to join as floor lead. You will operate with autonomy, support urgent patient care, and help prioritize tasks while mentoring teammates.

The role supports a 24/7 ER service with a team-focused, collaborative culture. Ideal candidates are RVTs with strong critical care skills, anesthetic monitoring, and leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Advanced drug dosage calculations including dilutions and multi-drug CRI calculations.
• Proficiency with sampling/central lines, NE and NG tubes, and nasal oxygen.
• Familiarity with common emergencies, medications, and treatments.
• Experience leading CPR and nursing care for critical patients.
• Proficiency in anesthetic monitoring and patient monitoring during procedures.

Responsibilities

• Lead on-floor emergency technicians or assistants with additional responsibilities.
• Prioritize tasks and manage workflow in a busy ER setting.
• Train staff and act as liaison between staff and management.
