The Health Technician (HCT) position supports a wide range of clinical and administrative tasks in the Emergency Department at the Orlando VA Medical Center. Qualified applicants will collect health information, monitor vital signs, and assist with patient care in a fast-paced environment serving veterans.

Required experience includes documenting vital signs, performing 12-lead EKGs, and recognizing emergencies.

Qualificações

• Specialized experience in clinical patient care and administrative support.

Responsabilidades

• Interviewing patients to collect health information and data.
• Obtaining and documenting patient vital signs.
• Performing 12 Lead EKGs and recognizing abnormalities.
• Observing changes in patient condition and communicating with RN/MD/NP/PA.
• Communicating courteously with veterans, representatives, visitors, and VA staff.
