Job summary

Baptist Health in Alabama seeks a Registered Nurse for the ED Enterprise Float Pool. The RN will supervise nursing staff on shift, coordinating care to ensure quality and continuity of patient care while collaborating with physicians.

Responsibilities include applying the nursing process in assessments and interventions; duties may extend beyond standard scope based on area needs. Degree in Nursing required with RN licensure and BLS, ACLS/PALS/NRP/TNCC as applicable.

Qualifications

• Degree in Nursing required.
• BSN degree preferred.
• Active RN licensure required.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS, PALS, NRP, TNCC, etc may be required depending upon area assigned.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing staff on shift, including weekends and holidays.
• Utilize the nursing process in patient assessments, planning of care, and delivery of interventions.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare clinicians in planning and implementing patient care.
• May have additional duties within scope of the role.
