Job summary

CommonSpirit Health is seeking a Regional Float - Emergency Nurse to provide essential nursing care across multiple campuses. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care following the nursing process in a safe, collaborative environment.

Requirements include at least two years of ED experience and current BLS, ACLS, and PALS. Candidates must be able to travel to multiple facilities on short notice.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an RN nursing program.
• Active RN licensure in the state of Nebraska, Iowa, or nurse licensure compact.
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) within 6 months of hire
• TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Course) within 12 months of hire
• ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) within 18 months of hire

Responsibilities

• Follow the nursing process: assess, plan, implement, and evaluate.
• Document all phases of the nursing process in the patient record.
• Travel to multiple metro facilities as needed on short notice.
