Job summary

MSF is seeking an ER Doctor for international humanitarian missions. The role covers supervision of the Emergency Service from admission to discharge, with emphasis on triage, patient flow, and protocol implementation.

You will train and supervise national staff to ensure knowledge transfer and quality care. You will work in multiple project sites across the region and must meet essential qualifications in emergency medicine, general medicine, and English/Spanish language requirements.

Qualifications

• Essential: General Physician Degree.
• Essential: Specialty in Emergency Medicine or anesthesia specialization and/or REA/ICU.
• Desirable diploma in tropical medicine.
• Essential: 2+ years practicing as Doctor in ER/ICU.

Responsibilities

• Apply medical knowledge for diagnosis, prevention and treatment per MSF protocols.
• Inform patients and families about diagnosis and treatment plans.
• Monitor hospitalized patients daily and coordinate discharge or transfers.
• Ensure proper distribution of medicines and maintain hygiene standards.
