Job summary

Médicos Sin Fronteras en México A.C [Proyectos en México y Centroamérica] seeks an Epidemiology Activity Manager to define and coordinate epidemiological activities across international missions, ensuring methodological quality and adherence to MSF standards.

The role requires English (B2) and Spanish (C1), at least two years of epidemiology experience, and the ability to collaborate with medical teams, HR, and logistics to support research and preventive practices in field missions.

Qualifications

• Essential: Degree (or masters) in Epidemiology or Public Health with extensive training in statistics and epidemiology.
• Desirable: medical or nursing related diploma.
• Essential: 2 years practicing epidemiologist related activities.
• Desirable: MSF or NGO experience in developing countries.

Responsibilities

• Defining, scheduling and organizing the annual epidemiological activity plan and its budget.
• Supervising epidemiological research activity and reporting progress.
• Advising the MSF medical team on epidemiological matters and designing tools.
• Coordinating with logistics for shipment of lab samples and maintaining protocols.
• Supervising data filing and epidemiology software usage for data traceability.
• Planning staff processes with HR and MSF values to ensure capability and commitment.
