Job summary

TriStar NorthCrest Medical Center is seeking a CT Tech for a Free-Standing ER opening in April 2027. You will perform CT exams, prepare trays, and coordinate patient flow while maintaining ALARA principles and providing excellent patient communication.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited radiologic technology program, ARRT with advanced CT, and BLS certification. On-call rotations and ongoing quality initiatives are part of the role.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology.
• Current ARRT certification with advanced CT certification within 6 months.
• 1 year post-graduate experience preferred but not required.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT exams following protocols and in a timely manner.
• Prepare procedure trays with appropriate supplies.
• Take patient history and retrieve orders or prior images.
• Provide patient history, signs, and symptoms to radiologist.
• Complete documentation accurately.
• Coordinate patient flow and verify exams are complete.
• Support ALARA principles.
• Inform patients about procedures and answer questions.
• Interact professionally with physicians, patients, and family.
