UK King's Daughters in Ashland, KY is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Room with a focus on critical care. The role delivers comprehensive patient care before, during, and after procedures, aligns with physician orders, and supports interdisciplinary teams.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license (ACLS and BLS required) with 0–2 years of experience; BSN preferred. The position is full-time, on-site, with duties including documentation, patient education, and safety.

Qualificações

• Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license, ACLS and BLS.
• Area-specific certifications may be required (CPI, PALS, NIH Stroke Scale, TNCC/BTLS, NRP).

Responsabilidades

• Responsible for delivering comprehensive patient care to critical care patients before, during, and after procedures.
• Assesses patients under critical care and documents changes in condition.
• Education of patients and families regarding care plans and procedures.
• Maintains accurate documentation to support quality and continuity of care.
• Performs safe medication administration following the five rights and barcode scanning.

Formação académica

Associate’s degree in nursing

Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) preferred
